Become a Youth Wellness Ambassador

By becoming a volunteer, you can make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in your community. Your support will help create a positive, supportive environment where youth can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Volunteer Roles Available

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities that cater to different skill sets and interests. Whether you’re passionate about fitness, mentoring, or event planning, there is a way for you to participate:

  • Fitness Assistant: Help, lead or assist in fitness classes designed to improve physical strength, coordination, and overall well-being for youth. No prior experience required, just a passion for fitness and helping others.

     

  • Youth Mentor: Offer one-on-one or group mentorship, guiding students as they work to develop both physical and mental strength. Mentors play a key role in encouraging self-confidence, resilience, and goal-setting.

     

  • Event Coordinator: Assist in planning and executing events such as community wellness days, fundraisers, or youth fitness challenges. If you love event planning and logistics, this role is for you.

     

  • Program Support: Participate in various administrative roles that assist our programs to run smoothly, from preparing materials for classes to coordinating communications with participants.

How to Apply

Becoming a Youth Wellness Ambassador is simple. Just follow these steps to start making a difference:

  1. Submit an Application
    Fill out the online volunteer application form, where you can express your interests and availability. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experiences! A basic background check will be required as part of the process.


  2. Attend Orientation
    Once your application is reviewed, you will be invited to an orientation session which will outline the programs, expectations, and how you can get involved. This will be a chance to meet the team and other volunteers.

Get Started
After orientation, you will be ready to begin. Whether you are assisting in fitness classes, mentoring students, or helping with events, you will receive guidance and support along the way.

Time Commitment

We understand that volunteers have busy schedules, which is why we offer flexible time commitments. Whether you have a few hours a week or can dedicate a larger block of time, we will work with you to find a role that fits with your schedule. We encourage volunteers to commit to at least 5-10 hours per month, but welcome all levels of involvement.
