What’s the story behind the Youth Wellness Initiative?
The Youth Wellness Initiative started in 2023 when Jeffery Aguirre saw kids struggling with their health after COVID-19. He knew from his own experience that fitness could build both strength and confidence. So, he created a program to help kids stay active, eat better, and feel supported. Jeffery named the program in memory of his wife, Demi, who believed every child deserves care and support. Today, YWI is a registered nonprofit helping kids grow stronger in body and mind.
